Hillside Garden

The beautiful crisp limestone paving with the gentle ascent leads up to the bespoke gym and home office. This multi-purpose space keeps work life and the family home very much separate. The garden room is cleverly blurred to the back of the garden with dark boundary walls giving light to the beautiful planting and the Cornus Norman Hadden tree to the front of the home office. The Dicksonia Antarctica sitting in a shady corner adjacent to the picture window creates a beautiful view from the reading spot within the home. The existing hedging was retained and given a sharp finish, also the beautiful Magnolia Soulangeana and Griselinia littoralis were also retained as key features of this garden. The upper terrace avails of the morning sun while the lower terrace avails of the evening sunshine giving this garden an option of sunshine all day.
